Out of the Ashes

Comes the start of a new business based in Beedon.

Following a coach fire in Europe, Beverley Childs lost all of her luggage and personal possessions including a unique jewellery roll.
The manufacturer no longer exists and although most of the possessions could be replaced this treasured item was lost for all time.
On a foreign trip, Beverley met with a Brazilian colleague who had made a beautiful iPad cover. She had done so because she did not like the utilitarian cases available from major manufacturers.

And so the idea of producing a unique range of accessories became a mission. Product ideas and outline design were not a problem but it was not until a meeting with @Julie Betts that the range could be transferred from the sketch pad to the sewing machine.

Using yards of left over material the pair created a number of prototypes before finalising on the design that is the Juberry iPad Cover.  From this design it was possible to select fabrics from a wide range of wholesalers in order to produce a product that is unique in the market place.

And what of the jewellery roll? This is the second in a range of accessories which is currently in design stage. It is planned to produce this and other products in matching fabrics so that all of the accessories can be fully coordinated.
